Back
Phoenix Mother
by Jean Ann Donnel
Dancing through fire,
Dancing through flame,
spinning through pain,
I'll be reborn,
My youth to regain.
Roger don't turn away,
David so like me,
Collinwood is cold stone,
Flames set us free.
Dancing through fire,
Dancing through flame,
Fire makes me sane,
Come to me David,
We've new lives to claim.
Cold ash and embers,
Passion turned to dust,
It's all left behind now,
Flow onward I must.
Dancing through fire,
Dancing through flame,
Spinning anger drained,
The hurt is gone,
No longer maimed.
